In November 2003 on the initiative of AGI – Bulgaria, a donation fund “A Start in Life” was established to grant scholarships to orphans and children with one parent continuing their education after high school graduation. The Future for Bulgaria Foundation joined this initiative and undertook the administration of the granted scholarships.
Altogether 49 children were granted scholarships under the program until 2014, and the total budget of the program is 195 800 leva granted by AGI – Bulgaria and other donors.
