The cultural center of the Foundation naturally turned into the center of cultural life in the Old Town and has a quite busy schedule. Among the performances on our stage are book premiers, theater shows from the program of the Association of the Artists from Plovdiv and the Plovdiv chamber theater, concerts by various musicians, among which professionals and scholarship students of the Foundation, Christmas celebrations for the orphans raised in the institutions in the regions, numerous celebrations on various occasions in nurseries, orphanages and schools. Our center is the host of many exhibitions by popular artists and beginners, as well as of seminars on different projects and programs. Our house is the meeting point of famous artists from Plovdiv and accommodates international meetings of photographers and gallerists and a center for piano, violin, poetry and literature courses. One of the exhibitions we held is that of 12 artists and sculptors (Svilen Blazhev, Nedko Itilov, Dimitar Kirov), which was organized in cooperation with the Foundation Georgi Bozhilov – Slona. The Future for Bulgaria Foundation and the Foundation “Georgi Bozhilov – Slona organized a permanent exhibition of the painter Georgi Bozhilov – Slona, which was officially opened on the 13 June 2003 in the Cultural Center of the Future for Bulgaria Foundation. The exhibition was opened together with a children’s en plein air painting course based on the painter’s works. The Foundation also published a luxury catalogue of the artist’s works, the revenues of which will be used for the purposes of the exhibition.
