The project “Hope for the Child” was launched in December 1997. The essence of the project was to provide for children of families below the poverty line in preliminarily selected municipalities, whereby, with the support of the educational departments, children from families with many children, children from families with two unemployed parents, orphans and students studying at schools outside their place of residence were chosen to participate in the project.

The project “Hope for the Child” has provided for 1546 children from every corner of the country since 1997. In the course of the work on the project, the idea to multiply the effect of the project was born and from March 1998 to the end of the school year, we managed to encompass 10 219 children and pupils from 93 nurseries and 124 schools.
